How is GST calculated?

When amount does not include GST Amount without GST * GST Rate / 100

Example:- Amount without GST = ₹1,00,000.00 GST Rate = 12% GST Amount = (₹1,00,000.00 * 12) / 100 = ₹12,000.00

When amount includes GST Amount with GST * GST Rate / (100 + GST Rate)

Example:- Amount with GST = ₹1,12,000.00 GST Rate = 12% GST Amount = (₹1,12,000.00 * 12) / (100 + 12) = ₹12,000.00
